October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month
Walk in your neighborhood, in a park, or where ever you like to walk.
The “Walk to Remember” is an opportunity for the UNITE community to join together to remember our children and raise funds for UNITE, Inc. 2020 is a little different, but we still want to honor the lost and support UNITE so it can continue to support others.
Please use the options on the right of this page to register and participate in the Walk to Remember in your own special way.
If you would like, take photos or videos of your walk.
Please send in your photos or videos and they will be posted on the UNITE Facebook and website.
Virtual Walk Opportunities
1. Register to walk
a. Registration fee: $25.00 per adult, children under 12 are free.
b. Share this page with your friends and family so that they can register to virtually join us as we walk to remember (We would love to see their photos too) or have friends and family sponsor you. Your fundraising efforts will allow UNITE to continue supporting bereaved parents in our community. A sponsor form is available from your group facilitator, or by contacting fundraising@unitegriefsupport.org.
2. Wave of Light
a. On October 15, 2020, the Wave of Light begins at 7:00 PM.
b. Light a candle in memory of your baby/babies.
c. Take a photo of your candle(s) burning.
d. Purchase a “Wave of Light” square for $5.00.
e. Send your photo into UNITE to be posted on the UNITE “Wave of Light” page.
3. Basket of Gift Cards Raffle
a. Additionally, you can purchase a $5.00 chance to win a “Basket of Gift Cards”.
b. Return to this page often to see the contents of each “Gift Card Basket” as they become available.
No need to RSVP – Register, walk, send in your photos or videos!
